Philippines: LEARN and PMA link up with Indonesian Metalworkers’ Federation

Beginning of November, representatives of the Indonesian Metalworkers' Federation visited the The Philippines to exchange experience about the common challenges the labour movement in Indonesia and The Philippines have to face (namely unregulated contractualization of workers and outsourcing of manufacturing services).

LEARN, the Global Network coordinator, facilitated meetings with workers at several automotive and manufacturing plants as well as a discussion with the Social Security System Commissioner Daniel L. Edralin.
